|The Veteran and Vintage Car Club of Australia (ACT) is pleased to announce that the 2023 National Veteran Vehicle Tour will be held from Monday 2nd October to Sunday 8th October in Griffith NSW.|
Countdown clock to the start of the welcome event!
The city of Griffith has a population of 20,000 people and is an easy city to drive in with wide streets and roads that bypass the main shopping area. The country is mainly flat and suitable for all veteran cars, motor cycles, trucks and steam driven vehicles.
You can now submit an Expression of Interest form online to be kept up-to-date on tour news and to be notified when entries officially open. You can also keep up to date on all information through the Newsletters page.
The Tour will start on Monday 2nd October 2023 at 3.00pm with a Mayoral Reception and afternoon tea, and finish on Sunday 8th October 2023 with a celebration lunch.
An optional Pre-Tour event is the annual Barellan Clydesdale and Heavy Horses Good Old Days Weekend in Barellan on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2023. Barellan is 50km from Griffith. There will be a camping area set aside for Tour entrants with self-contained trailers or motor homes, and in return we will provide a display of Veteran Vehicles. If you do not wish to freedom camp you can stay in Griffith and drive out to the Barellan for 1 or both days.
There are many accommodation options and styles in Griffith and we have assisted by providing some information on a number of these through our Accommodation page.
Further enquiries can be made through the Tour Contact Us page.
